Your public troop site is generated automatically, but you control what it says and shows. This article explains how to update your description, visibility toggles, and contact info to make your public site a great first impression for prospective families.
How to customize your public site
- Open troopcampfire.app and tap Account Settings (top right).
- Tap Organization.
- Tap Public Website.
- Edit the troop description using the rich text editor — this appears at the top of your public site and helps prospective families understand what makes your troop special.
- Toggle what's shown publicly — Show Event Calendar and Show Photo Gallery let you control what visitors see.
- Update contact info and configure your custom domain if needed.
- Save. Changes appear on your public site within a few minutes.

- Show Photo Gallery — whether your photo gallery is shown publicly
- Contact information
- Custom domain (Campfire Pro feature)
Your public site also includes a Join page for prospective families, though this isn't individually configurable from settings.
