Your public troop website is a polished, public-facing site at troopwebsite.org/{your-slug} that helps prospective families find and join your troop. It auto-generates from your troop data and stays up to date without any extra work on your part.

Campfire Pro feature

The public troop website is included with Campfire Pro. Upgrade to enable it — see Upgrade to Campfire Pro.

What the public site includes

  • Your troop name, number, and a brief description
  • Upcoming public events from your troop calendar
  • A "Join Our Troop" contact form for prospective families
  • Contact information

How it stays current

Any changes you make inside Campfire — adding events, updating your troop description — appear on your public site automatically. There's nothing to publish or sync manually.

What's private

Member names, contact information, advancement records, and any content you haven't explicitly made public are never shown on the public site. Only information you've designated as visible to the public appears there.

Want your own domain?

Campfire Pro subscribers can also point a custom domain (like troop123.org) at their public site. See Set up a custom domain for your public troop website.
